I almost always make time for exercise, as I know it improves my mood and helps keep me strong enough to do the chores :) And so, something that I love also becomes something I allow myself because I know it does me good, like stopping for that water. Maybe if you find the ways in which your "water" also benefits others, you'd find it easier to make room for it...Neopagan Priestesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15389878173900385163noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4948441046758510841.post-19242164766314702782014-01-12T11:08:41.740-05:002014-01-12T11:08:41.740-05:00My problem is not that I procrastinate with chores...My problem is not that I procrastinate with chores and obligations - those I knock out first. But I will procrastinate with fun and pleasure if I think I should squeeze one more task in my day. So by the end of the day I've gotten a lot accomplished BUT not enjoyment and relaxation.thesycamoretreehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15182019323050600440noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4948441046758510841.post-68485980663099690382014-01-12T11:04:35.208-05:002014-01-12T11:04:35.208-05:00We would probably be a lot more relaxed! :DWe would probably be a lot more relaxed! :Dthesycamoretreehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15182019323050600440noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4948441046758510841.post-87262805583677535202014-01-12T09:45:22.875-05:002014-01-12T09:45:22.875-05:00Procrastination is a devil in disguiseProcrastination is a devil in disguiseEllenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02617686222764658629noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4948441046758510841.post-84444899995767154482014-01-12T09:35:17.246-05:002014-01-12T09:35:17.246-05:00My childhood training in chores taught me if I tea...My childhood training in chores taught me if I tear down the list there is always time to play afterward. It was the whining and procrastination that ate up my time. It is almost impossible for me to relax and read a book when the shopping has to be done. the floor has to be vacuumed etc.I wonder how life would be if we had been taught to act just the other way around?Ellenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02617686222764658629noreply@blogger.com
