Ixchel is the Mayan goddess of the moon, water, fertility, and midwifery; she is often shown tipping over her sacred jar of water to let the endings and beginnings of the world flow. The Ten of Water is about emotional fulfillment - not to be confused with being happy all the time. It means we stay grounded in meaning and purpose that allows us to feel the whole range of human emotions. The Air: Seed of Water card symbolizes putting concepts into practice by transforming ideas and knowledge into everyday actions. With regard to emotional fulfillment, we begin to recognize that moods are normal and transient rather than expecting to be cheerful all the time. As Mark Manson wrote, "The desire for more positive experience is itself a negative experience. And, paradoxically, the acceptance of one’s negative experience is itself a positive experience."
