As a child, books were as sacred as church wafers; I would have freaked out!thesycamoretreehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15182019323050600440noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4948441046758510841.post-78151448669972878052015-06-01T02:34:54.775-04:002015-06-01T02:34:54.775-04:00That is no guarantee! That's due to my oldest friend's mum. She had three kids, but could barely cook baked beans on toast, and ran out of loo roll with frightening regularity - it traumatised me. Normally, they had newspaper in the bathroom, but I remember once being told I could rip pages from a book! That was just wrong on so many levels!!! :DInner Whispershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04577110987784585986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4948441046758510841.post-27527210553077661922015-05-31T13:37:27.073-04:002015-05-31T13:37:27.073-04:00You've got two kids - I know you're practi...You've got two kids - I know you're practical, lol! Visually they've been a seamless mix. Today's draw feels soft and contemplative, the Queen looking wistfully at the room empty of life but resonant with memory. Looking at the cards together I'm reminded of some lines from the 14th century Sufi poet, Mahmud Shbistari...."Go sweep out the chambers of your heart. Make it ready, to be the dwelling place of the Beloved."Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13895509286985960682noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4948441046758510841.post-41307749560697998692015-05-30T08:57:00.822-04:002015-05-30T08:57:00.822-04:00Next to the Queen of Swords this is the go to par...Next to the Queen of Swords this is the go to part of myself when I feel like playing my motherly role in life.
