I use tarot and oracle cards as tools for reflection and contemplation. Rather than divining the future, they are a way for me to look more deeply at the "now."

Buried in a Coffee Can

From the Ellis Tarot, the Four of Pentacles; from the Brownies Oracle, Manifestation:

That which is used - develops. That which is not used wastes away.
—Hippocrates

In our current economic situation, hoarding our money might seem wise. Yet just as regular physical exercise builds strength and stamina, we must use our money wisely for it and to grow and be sustained. When money is intentionally removed from productive circulation, we risk losing purchasing power due to inflation, and we lose out on interest and potential returns. Manifestation might seem like all we have to do to attract wealth and become financially stable is to say some daily affirmations. If only it were so simple... It is what we do - through effort, knowledge and discernment - that affects what we create and have. While money gives us options, it's helpful to remember the words of George Lorimer as well: "check up once in a while and make sure that you haven’t lost the things that money can’t buy."
