I use tarot and oracle cards as tools for reflection and contemplation. Rather than divining the future, they are a way for me to look more deeply at the "now."

Inauguration Day
Time to focus on solutions instead of dwelling in the problem. The following posters by Shepard Fairey reflect this attitude and can be downloaded for free here (along with others).
I always thought those slogans were true, and firmly believed in spite of our personal aberrations and muddles, as a whole America was smart enough to know right from wrong and good from bad. We've been quite a disappointment lately, both on the personal level and as a whole. We've lost our way and don't seem interested in that fact at all. And that attitude isn't because my candidate didn't win the presidency, I'm used to that. My candidate has only won twice since I started voting at 18.
My personal take is much like yours. I think Congress has been a mess for years, but the President is the public face we see and on whom we often pin the blame (that our Representatives and Senators actually deserve). These will be my mantras as the baton passes.
